Chapter 1 of 8

What exactly is Aurato?

Understand the purpose first, then learn BaZi.

Reader outcomeAurato does not use a chart to pass judgment on your life. It helps you see what resources you have, what is changing around you, and which strategy fits the present moment.

Scene 01

Start with a real-life question

BaZi often begins with unfamiliar terms such as Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches and Ten Gods. Aurato reverses that order and starts with the real-life questions people actually care about:

  1. Why am I so tired lately?

Look at your current energy and recovery capacity.

  2. Why does being with one person feel unusually easy?

Look at support, complementarity and depletion within the relationship.

  3. Why can I do the same work well at one time and have no energy for it at another?

Look at how work demands and timing conditions change your state.

Scene 02

A map of your life resources

Aurato understands BaZi as Life Resource Analysis. Your birth data supplies a starting configuration that shows how you operate most naturally, which resources are easier to access, and which exchanges tend to recur.

A chart is not the ending of your life. It is more like a map: a map can show terrain, routes and weather, but you still decide which road to take.

Resource mapJia Wood uses a compass to compare resources, routes and weather.

The map shows conditions; you still choose the route

Scene 03

Aurato answers three main questions

  1. What resources do you have?

This includes the abilities you use naturally, the approaches you return to, and the places where you are more easily depleted.

  2. What is changing around you?

This includes work demands, relationship dynamics, long-term life phases and short-term rhythms.

  3. What should you do now?

Aurato turns the analysis into four strategy modes: Attack, Defend, Repair or Prepare.

Scene 04

Think of life as a long-running game

  1. You

    The character

  2. Natal BaZi

    Your starting build

  3. Five Elements

    Five ability scores

  4. Four Pillars

    Different life areas

  5. Luck Pillars and annual timing

    The map and weather

  6. Aurato

The interface that helps you understand your character state and choose a strategy

Your character build does not decide whether you win or lose. What matters is whether you understand yourself, know how to use your resources, and can adjust your strategy as conditions change.
